Mally Gel Nail? Has anyone done tried the "jelly sandwich" yet?

It's where you use mally's system but place regular polish in between the base coat and the top coat. I'd like to try it but wanted to check here first to see if worked out for anyone.

I really like the system and just did my nails for the second time today. The only thing I did differently this time was to apply the "tutu" color as the first coat then topped with 2 coats of "mally's baby". Using "mally's baby" alone was a bit to sheer, the application of "tutu" first made my nails more opaque and I like it. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has tried the "jelly sandwich" yet and if so, did it work, last and did you like it? TIA
