Makeup after 50

Has your makeup "look" changed since you turned 50? I know skincare routines change due to aging, but what about the cosmetics that you use? If you've changed, what products have you omitted or added?

Everything I read about makeup for "mature" sounds boring and choiceless. Are beauty writers and professionals on the same bandwagon as everyone else in the "mature" women fashion/beauty industry in their inability to relate to women our age? I hope this doesn't sound like a rant, (that was not my intention) it is a "frustration comment".
