Oh, absolutely!
Way Bandy was my hero way..... before I was allowed to use make up.
Same here - the first makeup book I ever purchased was "Designing Your Face" by Way Bandy. This was back in the late 70's, but he was SO ahead of his time. He was advising women to mix makeup foundation with moisturizer on the hand before applying. And he recommended blending two shades of foundation for your ideal shade. I really believe his approach to makeup inspired many of today's makeup products.
And Kevyn Aucoin - the makeup artist who brought neutral shades to a whole new level. His makeup looks are now classics, and I also believe he is the reason there are so many neutral color cosmetics. The Kevyn Aucoin makeup line, although pricey, is excellent.
Mr. Bandy and Mr. Aucoin are sadly no longer with us, but their contributions to the cosmetics industry will always be remembered.
Now regarding what makeup artist I would like to have a private session with - Jordan Liberty. A wonderful makeup artist who makes women of all ages look great! Check out his videos on YouTube, including a makeover featuring the beautiful blond QVC model LouAnn.

Hi
I agree my dream artist would be with those who said Way Bandy and Kevin Aucoin . I have serveral of Kevin's books and Way's Designing your face . Way Bandy passed away before the era of makeup artist cosmetics and Kevin's was just starting . I can't imagine what these 2 would have created with todays technology ,Realistically I would pick Kristen Arnett or SHirley Pinkson both organic/green cruelty free makeup artist. I wouls also love CIndy Joseph of BOOM cosmetics

Another vote for Wayne Goss!
But, Laura Geller would be a lot of fun!
I agree with many of you... if Kevin Aucoin were still alive, he'd have to be first on the list... but to see who he'd make me look like. He was amazing!
