I found the perfect one when visiting friends in Miami recently.
We stopped at a drugstore, not your usual chain drugstore, it had all kinds of things I had never seen before, as well as the usual brands.
My friends had to drag me out, it was like finding a treasure trove.
I spotted a huge plastic bottle of splash-on cologne, green cap and bought it.
It's a Spanish brand, Lancry.
LANCRY COLONIA NATURAL
It's the most amazing summer scent.
It's green, no citrus, clean out of the shower scent. Just green, clean, fresh.
I would say it's in the same category as the scent of Irish Spring soap, I don't use that soap but I think it smells nice. I am not sayilng that they smell the same but they are in the same class.
It's probably unisex, actually the whole family can use it.
I love that it's not heavy and there is nothing cloying about it. On me the scent lasts a good 4 or 5 hours.
I only spray on my back and not too much as I can't stand to smell strongly of perfume.
I always have people asking me what I am wearing and it's the kind of scent that if you don't douse yourself in it, you can wear at the office.
To me, it's a summer scent only.
Oh and, huge bottle really cheap.
I have since found that it is sold online as well.
I put some in a smaller spray bottle as I don't like spash-on too much.
And it's not like the classic, original Eau de Cologne scent at all.

This scent sounds like something I might be interested in trying. First, though, I'm going to order Westin's White Tea eau de toilette and body lotion. Very clean, light scent. Thanks for the rec.

Does anyone remember, Estee Lauder's, "Aliage"?
Back in the day, that was THE 'green' scent.
I did did a quick Google search for Lancry....saw where Walmart/Sears/etc was selling, but discontinued. Amazon Prime sells a liter (!) for $12. Is this a scent slowly being phased out?

I lean toward Amazing Grace and Bobbi Brown's Beach 'non fragrance' fragrances but last Christmas I received a small roll on bottle of a Nest fragrance called Verde. Nest fragrances are stronger than I usually wear but I do occasionally mix Verde in with my lighter scents. The green notes are fresh and remind of something from my southern California childhood.

The Elizabeth Arden is classic. I used to mix it with water and use for ironing my clothes. It used to be abundant at TJ Maxx but I haven't been there in awhile.

Aliage is still available. So is Vent Vert which is not as 'icy green' as it used to be.

How about an oldie called Calyx. I think Clinique might be selling it now. Can't get much fresher and greener than that!
