Kirk's Folly as a Gift??

I have a friend who is very sweet but a bit on the ditsy side. She loves to "flit and float" as she calls it. I just love her and her offbeat ways. I thought something from Kirk's Folly might be appropriate for her.

What do you think of Kirk's Folly merchandise? Does it hold up well? She is very active and her jewelry clunks and clanks a lot. I personally don't care for Kirk's Folly but would be grateful for your opinion on giving it to this particular friend.
