John Freida Clear Glaze.....

Has anyone tried John Freida luminous shine Clear glaze? Or any other gloss/glaze treatment? My hair is colored and highlighted and would like to add shine between colorings. Any advice? I have used purple shampoo twice ( once a wk) to keep from brassiness but augh it's so drying to my hair I don't want to use it.
