I used to use Wen until I thought it was responsible for my hair not wanting to do anything but lay on top of my head. I found out to my dismay that it was my stylist of 20+ years that was butchering my hair. On one side I was so thin it was breaking due to the way she was cutting it and "texturizing" it. It just seemed like all of a sudden she lost her mind and my hair looked bad. Got a consultation and sure enough my hair was all different lengths and was a mess. The new stylist said the damage was due to the so called cut and not Wen, because I point blank asked. Had to cut my hair short and now it is almost to my shoulders. Anyway that is behind me and I never experienced hair loss or problems like I am reading on the boards when I used it. Does all Wen contain menthol?? That is the only downside I remember about it was the menthol. It did make my hair soft and I know you have to rinse and rinse and rinse with it. I have color treated hair that tends to be dry.
