IT Luxe Brush question

I purchased the It TSV from last winter with the two brushes (heavenly luxe being one of them). Is this the same bristles as the new "mega luxe" in the upcoming TSV? I thought it was the same brush head with a different larger handle, but someone corrected me on this last night. They look like the same bristles, just different handle from the pictures. Anyone know?
