I saw Nancy Snyderman on the Today Show the other day and noticed how pretty her eye makeup was. It seemed to be a subtle lavender shade. I believe she has blue eyes. I've always stayed away from anything except browns and apricots. Anything with cool tones can tend to make me look washed out and tired. I remember reading somewhere (Good Housekeeping I think) Laura Geller suggesting jewel tones as we get older and not to do so much of the neutrals. Does anyone have any suggestions for eyeshadows for me to try? I have med brown hair, light complexion (Irish girl with freckles) and blue eyes with gold flecks so they can look blue/green. Being 49, I don't want anything crazy, just very subtle and suitable for everyday. I will be making a trip to Sephora soon to use their 20% off and I can ask them as well. Thanks.
