I'm sorry, another question, this time styling creme

I'm sorry to be asking so many questions, I just want to be sure and want to make the right choices. I know someday I'll have enough experience to help out with questions.

I understand fully the directions for the styling creme. This might be a stupid question, but I don't blow dry my hair, I towel dry it. Would it still be a good idea to use the styling creme? I don't want it all over my towel and not in my hair. I could definitely towel it gentler, and it's really short and doesn't take much for it to be dry anyway.
