Has Anyone Ever Done Folica's Trade-In?

Hi everyone...my flat iron is starting to die, and I'm thinking of upgrading via Folica's.com's trade-in program. You send them your old iron or hair dryer and get a credit ($40 I think?) towards a new one. Has anyone ever done it? Just looking to see opinions before actually doing it...TIA! :-)
