My derm told me that Finacea has made a foam and it is being released on Monday. The first bottle will be free so that people can try it.
I had wanted to try original Finacea on my chest, but I have not made my deductible in the last 2 years and it's about $250 a tube. A little steep for me to try this.

I do not know if this will help you, but Finacea has a website and if you join the cost coupon program, you can purchase Finacea at a reduced amount. I do that and it really helps.

Thanks.
Here's how I had to get my free bottle.
My derm partnered with a local pharmacy and the pharmacy has the stock and the coupons. My derm called the prescription into this pharmacy this morning and they are mailing my my free bottle and I should have it tomorrow or Thursday depending on local mail speed around here (we're still recovering from the security backup due to the Pope's visit, so things are just getting back to normal).
The cost after deductible was $79 and the coupon brought it down to zero.
I just checked my prescription site and the cost is $262 a bottle, so I'll pay 10% going forward (or $26) if it works for me.
I'm trying this on my chest to see if it makes a difference.

I guess I have to apologize to the USPS because my bottle came today.
It's a very dry foam and a little squirt is all you need. I am using this on my chest, not on my face. It spreads well and dries very quickly and doesn't leave a residue or stickiness at all.
I hope it works for me.

Hope it works for you. Really nice you were able to get it down to a reasonable cost going forward.

@VaBelle35, please keep us posted on how the foam works vs the gel. Will call my dermatologist about the free bottle. I've ordered the gel from Australia because it's otc there, but I'd prefer free! Finacea has worked great for my mild acne and rosacea, and it leaves my skin so even toned.
