I was visiting a patient (I'm a hospice nurse)...the patient is 82. Her doorbell rang and in walked a close friend of hers carrying a bouquet of flowers. I assumed that her age must be similar to my patient's age. My gosh, this woman was lovely...snow white hair swept up in a careless looking French twist...sassy side swept bang, trim figure, manicured hands. Full face of very natural looking makeup, radiant smile, sparkly blue eyes and trim little figure wearing an outfit that a much younger woman probably would have worn without hesitation. I could not help telling her how pretty she was. I wanna be like her when I grow up!
