Dr. Denese's Pro C Defense Pads

I received Dr. Denese's Pro C Illuminating Defense Pads as part of a 3pc TSV kit. I have used these in the past and liked them. However, this new jar of pads are a beige color and the liquid or serum is the color of weak tea. The other pads I got in the past were white and the liquid clear like water. Has anyone notice this? I don't think it affects the purpose, and I will still continue using them because my skin does look good and my pores seem smaller. Did I get a defective jar or is this normal?
