That Makeup Hoarder video got me thinking. She had products for 30 years!! That is insane!!

Now I do not have products that long, but I have quite a few products that are passed the expiration date that I still use.

Obviously, if a products looks or smells funny, it is gone immediately. For example, sometimes the shadows get that "film" over it. In that case, I toss it.

I do stick to the mascara expiration dates, and usually toss them after 3-4 months.

But I have some higher price cosmetics, like that I still use after a few years, as there is still a lot of product left, that I refuse to waste. For instance, a lot of my liners, especially my BB gel liners and LWCS are about 2-3 years old and I still use them.

I do keep my makeup area clean and neat, and my brushes are wiped with a baby wipe after every single use and washed thoroughly about a month.

So yeah, I do use products past the expiration dates. What about you?
