Dafni Question for Someone who owns it.

When you first turned it on to heat up, did you notice a smell?  Mine smelled like burning plastic.  I straightened my hair and then went to watch TV.  I kept smelling the horrible smell, and then I realized my hair smells like burning plastic now.  Will this smell go away after multiple uses?

Thanks for any advice.

@Kcubed while I don't own the Dafni, I think that smell is normal the first few times a new curling/flat iron is heated up.  Hopefully it will go away soon.  Smiley Happy

Mine did too but has no smell now. I bought a second one for vacations. With all the tools I have, flat irons and Perfecter this is the one I use most especially for second day hair.
