Since Clark's Botanicals skincare line is sold on QVC, I thought you would like to read about the owner behind the brand, Francesco Clark, and the backstory about his company.

I didn't know that he was disabled and that he broke his neck in a pool diving accident when he was 24 years old. He founded his company to help him deal with his skin issues after being paralyzed.

I do know that he sold his company to Glansaol and repurchased it back when Glansaol went into bankruptcy. It's really interesting to find out more about the Glansaol dealings though (Glansaol also owned Laura Geller and Julep at the the time that Glansaol went into bankruptcy. Often he would be a guest on the air with Lisa Robertson on Fri Night Beauty, and he would tell the story of his accident.
