My eye shadow concepts are a bit different than just picking a color.

Neutral would mean staying with a flesh tone. Where you place the shadow would determine how deep of shade. On the lid? On the crease?

If you are adding shadow for drama, then you might go into a color.

If you want something to specifically compliment your eye color, then choose a shade that contrasts on the color wheel. For blue eyes, coppers are a great contrast.

For me, Bobbi Brown Taupe.

i suspect that will be a good one for you, but if you head to a counter, you can see if it's one step too dark. In which case, try Wheat.

@anjazw I would go to Ulta if I were you & test out different shades of brown & taupes. Better yet try & pick up a pallette with 3 or 4 shades of neutrals so you have more choices. PS If you don't want an expensive pallette try NYX at Ulta they have testers of their shadow. Another DS brand is Wet & Wild at Walgreens, they sell singles & palletts but you can't test them. You need to branch out
