Are Aveda Hair Products really that Great?

Hi everyone, in about a month a plan to get my hair cut in an Aveda school. I'm excited because I haven't gone to the hair salon in 5 years! I know some women wouldn't have been able to survive. I am thinking of maybe trying their products. What are your favorites?
