Anyone been able to use multiple Sephora F&F codes?

I have two separate Sephora accounts and got two different F&F codes. When I test-tried to use the second code, it said it had already been used...which of course it hadn't been, at least not by me! Weird! Is that because I'd already placed an order? If I can't place a second order it's no biggie, I already got what I really wanted in the first order, but why do they let you get up to five codes if you can't use them?
