I was over at Nordstrom's website checking out the new arrivals and I happened upon a new brush. It's a Mason Pearson Extra Small Boar Bristle Hair Brush for $290! I've heard of this brand but had no idea they were that expensive. This is for a small brush, I can only imagine what a larger one costs. For $290 this brush would have to do my hair for me!

I know people rave about these brushes, but I agree with you, that is a lot of money for a brush.

Mason Pearson has long been considered the holy grail of hairbrushes, but for that money, I had better never have a bad hair day!! I could never justify the cost to spend that much on a hair brush.

That brush best turn my hair to gold at those prices. That way, I can pluck my gold strands of hair from it to pay for it!

They are worth it! I have both the brush and Two combs. They will last a lifetime if taken care of properly. Plus they are so good for your hair.

I agree that Mason Pearson brushes are amazing, but I will not personally purchase one. If I were a hairdresser who used one as a "tool" I certainly would! I find Denman brushes to be a good alternative.

Wow, they've really gone up in price! I bought the large and small Mason Pearson brushes in the early-mid 90's. They were nowhere that price. I actually got the small one on the Q2 channel.

Yikes is all I can say at that price!

I do like natural boar brushes for my long hair but I can find them reasonably priced at Winners in Canada (owned by TJX) so I would check TJ Maxx and Marshall's for ibeauty and Revecen natural boar brushes. They cost me under $10 each, I have several of them in round, small round, and flat.
