@chickenbutt  Yes, I agree.  I was concerned yesterday.  Now I am thinking someone is just looking for attention?  Maybe lonely?  Maybe enjoying themselves getting people to respond in caring manner?  In any case I believe her hand has been overplayed.

I work in a grocery store that sends and receives wires via Western Union.  It's easy.  

 

First, be sure you personally know the person you're sending money to.  There are countless scams.  I would never ever send money to someone you don't personally know.

 

Be sure you have a valid government ID when you send or pick up money.  You fill out a form and the customer service rep will send it and provide you with a receipt so you can tell the receiver what they need to pick up the money.  There is a fee and that depends on the dollar amount sent and where it's sent.
