I've been watching all morning and haven't noticed. I really like David and think he does a great job, as you said, and does a MUCH better show than Bob did.

I love him too. I didn't notice any sniffing, but I was watching online while working on my laptop, so I wasn't watching without distraction.

cup of hot water, add 2 tsp baking powder.
if it bubbles, it's good, if it sits there, it's old

I was watching one the Cook's Illustrated shows and they were asked that question. They said both baking soda and baking powder were good for 6 months.

I buy the Rumford baking powder (because it is aluminum-free) that comes in a round can and I just put the whole can into a Lock & Lock container. I have some tall round ones that are the perfect ...

This tip sent me scurrying to check the date on my can of baking powder, although I haven't noticed any difference in its effectiveness in biscuits, cornbread, etc. that I've made lately, and it passe ...
