Does anyone use the Remoist Hair Mask as a first or second cleanse?

How has that worked for you?

I haven't but IMO it's not formulated to cleanse so I don't think it would work very well.

I agree with Okiebug that that would not be a good use of the Remoist.

Re: Does anyone use the Remoist Hair Mask as a first or second cleanse?

I sometimes use it in my 2nd cleanse...I have played around with overnight leave-in options. As a time-saver/treatment I will sometimes give my hair a good 1st cleanse, put in the CC for my 2nd cleanse, leave it in overnight and rinse in the morning. When I do this, sometimes I mix in a remoist treatment too. I'll use a little more CC than usual for the 1st cleanse, add Fig CC to prime, and add about 2T of remoist and work it through my hair. The RM and CC work together as my 2nd cleanse, and then in the morning it rinses out easily and quickly, and I am left with super moisturized and shiny hair Smile

Okiebug and Kjelle and WenGirl42 all said what I would have said. Very good.

Re: Does anyone use the Remoist Hair Mask as a first or second cleanse?

My reason for this question is that it is way to cold in Chicago to have wet hair for hours. Have a couple of jars RHM that need to be finished and was in need of a treatment............

It is not a protocol I want to use all the time.

Anyway, I did it as a first single cleanse about 2 tablespoons and really massaged into my hair well, rinsed really well. Then only used pump of 613 SC as a leave-in. The result is excellent.

Thanks everyone for your imput.
