Quick question using CC's as face wash

I have combination/blemish prone skin. Anybody with this skin type use TT as a face wash?

Re: Quick question using CC's as face wash

Hi. I have combination to oily skin that is generally very sensitive to anything I try. Seems like most skin care lines cause me to break out but not Wen. I was skeptical when Chaz said to use it with a clarisonic but decided to try it. Love it! I have washed with TT cc and some of the others but my favorite face wash is 613. I use a spritz of TT mist and few drops of TT oil after washing with 613. No breakouts at all and skin looks great! I started with TT with excellent results but liked the scent of 613 better. I would say they both worked equally well for me. I also like using BGT and the new spring orange blossom as a face wash. Good luck . I hope you get good results . Please check back in and let us know how it works out for you

Thank you! I will try it tonight. I just got my TT TSV and I put the 613 on my my hands...all I can say is wow! My hands are so soft! The smell is awesome too.

Re: Quick question using CC's as face wash

I do. I've used the Tea Tree Body Cleanser as a face wash, but not the Tea Tree CC. I did use the Summer Mango Coconut as my face wash for about three weeks as a vacation experiment. I was worried I would get breakouts, but I did not and was very pleased. for nearly three weeks I used only WEN CC as my body cleanser, face wash, hair wash, leave-in conditioner, shaving cream, and, for the most part, hand wash.

Re: Quick question using CC's as face wash

I've used different WEN formulas as facial and body washes. I also tend to rub whatever CC I'm using on my hair onto my face while I'm showering. I like 613 a lot for the face, because it is so thick and creamy and smells so good! I also like POM for the body. No breakouts and my skin is very soft.

I just use the regular CC and not the product that is a body wash.

Re: Quick question using CC's as face wash

I've never used TT on my face but I have been using 613 with my Mia on my face for about 3 months, love the scent of 613, it leaves my skin feeling very nice and not tight and dry like other cleansers.

I have used all the Cc's (including the seasonals) and POM bcc on my face at one time or another for almost a year now , love it and will continue to use them.

Re: Quick question using CC's as face wash

I have tried a few of the different formulas on my face. I like the TT because it's minty and fresh but I also love using the BGT on my face. I also have combination skin that is prone to blemishes and my t-zone is especially oily. Since I've been using Wen on my face, I have noticed much clearer skin and a more even tone as well.

I have been using products with tea tree in them since I was a kid. I used to think it was only good for a flaky scalp but it really seems to help all kinds of skin/scalp issues! Awesome stuff!

Re: Quick question using CC's as face wash

Sometimes I'll use 613 on my face and occasionally I'll use TT if my face seems too oily.

The Seasonals and 613 are the CCs to which Chaz has added expensive skin care ingredients. The 613 CC has the greatest concentration of these ingredients.

Re: Quick question using CC's as face wash

I have normal skin. I got a freebie LAV that my hair didn't like. I used it as a face wash and that didn't go well. I use it successfully as a hand wash.

Get your flu shot...because I didn't.
