June 2013 (recap) - Running Tally of Wen Gallons Ordered

I'm a "number girl" so I like hard and fast statistics. Last June I kept a running tally of how many Wen gallons were being ordered, how many of each scent QVC had brought in, when each scent sold out, etc.

Since a number of people have been asking questions about June Gallons Month, below is a hot link to the running June gallons thread tally that I put together last year. In the post following this one, I'm posting the final tally I came up with. Unfortunately, I sort of ran out of steam towards the end of the month, but this thread will give you an idea as to how things went last June. Post #32 has the final June 2013 Gallons Month numbers:

June 2013 - Running Tally of Wen Gallons Ordered

Also, as far as I can tell BGT will probably be offered in gallons this June, because Chaz has mentioned he has added it to his core line of Cleansing Conditioners (i.e. SAM, TT, FIG, LAV, CA & POM).

Since the Kids Cleansing Conditioner gallons were offered for the first time last June (at Chaz's insistance), I would expect them to also be offered this June (i.e. Apple, Watermelon, & Strawberry-Banana).

Last September, Chaz offered the 613 Cleansing Conditioner gallons for the first time, and they sold out in two days. Again, I expect that Chaz will offer the 613 gallons on an annual basis (probably each September). Chaz has said that the 613 gallons will not be offered in June when the other gallons are offered. -- The 613 line is very special to Chaz so, perhaps, he wants to show the 613 gallons in their own special spotlight.

Prices for Wen gallons in 2013:

* Core CCs & Kids CCs -- $177 -- S&H: $8 (1st shipment) / free (2nd A-D shipment)

* 613 CC -- $199 -- S&H: $12.72 (1st shipment) / free (2nd A-D shipment)

__

This hot link to the Wen TSVs going back to December 2009 -- items in TSV kits and prices thread will give you an overview to past Wen TSVs as well as a few special offers that are scheduled annually.

This hot link to the Wen 101 will give you some good general information to Wen as well as some hot links to key informational Wen threads from the QVC Wen Forum.

Enjoy!

Wen Gallons - Interesting Facts

* Total Wen Gallons shipment for June: 120,000 gallons

-- Note: I have revised the running total which I originally listed in post #32 as "between 112,000-114,000 gallons". (this is the only revision I made when I reprinted that post).

-- based on info that at 62,000 gallons over half gallons were gone & at 75,000 gallons two-thirds of gallons were gone.

* They may be trying to keep all the gallons stocked because at one point Albany said "I don't think we can get any more back in." Also for the Q Check show on 6/28, the Cucumber Aloe stock went from 300 at 7:45am to 3,600 at 1pm.

* Tea Tree - 22,000 gallons were brought in. -- 6/12: less than 3,500 left. -- 6/22: waitlist -- 6/25: available -- 6/27: less than 700 left -- 6/28: waitlist & then sold out.

* Fig - 6/28: 150 gallons left - last call

* Sweet Almond Mint - 6/28: 2,300

* Lavender - 18,000 gallons were brought in. -- 6/12: less than 6,000 left --6/28: 2,500.

* Pomegranate - 6/28: 7,400

* Cucumber Aloe - between 5,000 & 5,600 gallons were brought in. -- 6/11: less than 1,600 left -- 6/26: less than 400 left -- 6/28: less than 200 left (7:45am) -- 6/28: 3,600 (1pm). -- They must have added more stock.

* Kids Apple - wait-listed on 6/8 and taken off of wait-list on 6/20

* Kids Strawberry-Banana - waitlisted on 6/19 and taken off on waitlist on 6/20

* Kids Gallons (Apple, Strawberry-Banana, & Watermelon) - They didn't bring in many Kids Gallons. From what Chaz has said, it sounds as though he had convince QVC to bring them in. Thanks Chaz!!

-- For those new to Wen who haven't made their purchases yet, I though this might be useful information to have.

WOW - S&H only $8 last year - and free on A-D? (Last June I had not yet "come into the light" so I didn't note it! Wink) Hmm, tempting to buy a gallon if the S&H is that reasonable. There you go again enabling me, bebe {#emotions_dlg.biggrin} Thanks again for all your info!

Re: June 2013 (recap) - Running Tally of Wen Gallons Ordered

*SEASONALS ARE UNLIKELY TO BE OFFERED IN THE GALLON SIZE*

I forgot to mention that in my first post.

This is my understanding of Chaz's philosophy regarding the Seasonal CCs...

Chaz created the Seasonals to be a fun adjuncts to the ever-present line of core CCs. The Seasonals are a fun way to mix up the CC offerings from time to time. If a particular Seasonal is is really well liked then, perhaps, it might be offered again a few years later... or maybe not. It just depends...

Wen is not a huge corporate conglomerate, so Chaz can only offer a certain number of CCs scents on a regular basis.

So offering Seasonal Gallons every June would just be too unwieldy.

By calling them Seasonals, I think Chaz let us know what his philosophy for the Seasonals was up front: life changes as the seasons change.

For me, I do my best to celebrate these changes and look forward to the new opportunities they always bring...

That makes no sense.

My question to you is why do you look at a thread about a product you don't use?
It is quite amazing the following that Chaz has with his CCs and various products. I find it interesting how many gallons can be sold in one month and the frenzy that ensues.

Why do people put out info about upcoming TSVs about all the products QVC offers. Probably because it makes them feel good about helping others.

For those that use Wen, the info that Bebe777 has provided is very beneficial. She has given us information as to the cost of purchasing CCs with various TSV offerings and with the gallons. In fact, many of us have done the same thing in order to evaluate which way is the most cost efficient method in purchasing Wen. Bebe777 has done this very thoroughly and has shared her information.

Sometimes, I wonder why people start certain threads on the QVC Community. I am completely surprised at what some people feel the need to write on facebook. However, I accept what they write and move on...because I am not a perfect person and I hope others will be accepting of me when I have those off moments.

Have a great day!

Okay, bye then! Don't read the thread if you don't care about the products being discussed. Easy peasy.
