Question about Pomegranate WEN

Hi Ladies. I am new to WEN. I just bought the TSV over the weekend in Pomegranate because Chaz said it was universal. I have medium length curly hair. My curls are like loose ringlets. Is the Pomegranate good for curly hair? I was so unsure which to buy because I didn't hear Chaz mention what to use for curly hair. Any help you can give would be appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Question about Pomegranate WEN

Even though I have used WEN for a couple of years I am far from an expert. I have baby fine naturally curly/wavy hair. I tried the Pomegranate and found it to be too heavy for my hair. It just didn't work for me. I use Sweet Almond Mint and Tea Tree. I must admit though, Tea Tree is my favorite. JMO.

Re: Question about Pomegranate WEN

My curly hair absolutely LOVES the Pom! I've found that out of all the core formulas, my hair does best with Pom. I use Tea Tree for my scalp issues and then Pom on the rest of the hair. My curls also do pretty good with 613 and the seasonals.

Re: Question about Pomegranate WEN

Pom and the other core "universals" leave my hair dry. Curly hair usually needs moisture and Fig has been the best for my hair, even though it's also very fine. That doesn't mean it won't work for you, but you might want to try Fig at some point and see how that works for you, especially if you find your hair dry or frizzy.

Re: Question about Pomegranate WEN

I have very fine, straight hair. I love the POM smell and use it a lot, but I find that the FIG works better for my frizzy ends. I used to curl my ends with a curling iron every day, and they're really fried. FIG gives me that moisture, but I won't give up my POM! I have it in a mousse, VTM, and oil.

Everyone really just has to find what works for them.

Re: Question about Pomegranate WEN

Welcome to Wen, Arianna!

My thick, curly hair laughed at Pom. Through months of trial and error with different formulas, I found that my hair loves Tea Tree or 613 as a first cleanse, Fig as a second cleanse and Fig as a leave-in.

QVC sells a Discovery Kit that contains small bottles of various formulas. Give it a try if Pom doesn't work for you.

When you find the one that works for your hair, your will know!

Re: Question about Pomegranate WEN

Thank you all for your responses! If the Pom doesn't work for me, maybe I will try the Discovery Kit - thanks HonnyBrown! You all seem to like the Tea Tree and Fig too - so that may be where I go next. Thanks again.

OMG! We sound like the same person. We have the same hair type, like the same cc's, have been using Wen for two years, and I'm from Kentucky and I'm guessing you are, too. So funny!

Re: Question about Pomegranate WEN

My curly hair really does well with POM, and I love the scent. I am a newbie been using only 3 and 12 months and so far I have found that POM and the seasonals do best for my hair. I have just above the shoulders, curly, med thickness and texture fairly heathy hair. I also use TT for my scalp and even when I used TT on it's own my curls seemed to like it too.
