I have an auto-delivery to ship on Monday 3/18. I have changed the scent from Pom to SAM last time. I did change it to Fig this time as I have never tried it. I have a lot of baby-fine hair that is dk. brown and color treated. I'm afraid that Fig might not be a good choice but I really want to try it. I'm thinking of changing it back to my favorite- Pom.
Should I keep the scent with Fig or change back to Pom? Help!

Hi - I have fine hair but a lot of it and it is color treated. My go to had always been SAM, but the last time I bought WEN I got the Fig and I love it. I am in my 40's and my hair texture has changed and my hair has become dryer. Because it is so fine, it is a tangled mess after washing, but the fig has helped that. I was at first worried the fig might be too rich, but it is so gentle. I like the fig the best, followed by POM. However, it is the price that keeps me away. I have been using recently color science moisture rich, which is expensive, but a little of it goes a long way and lasts much longer than WEN.
I think you will like the fig, I don't think it is too rich.

Remember, you can also mix the fig with something else. If you do find it's too rich for you, and just want a little extra moisturizing, just add one or 2 pumps of fig with something else.

Yes, your are right. I am just needing reassurance since I was having second thoughts. I think I will just go for it and if it is too rich, use it for a leave in or mix it with others as you suggest. I like BGT but I am noticing that it is a bit drying for my hair, so maybe adding a little fig will fix that. Thanks so much for your response!

Thanks Hilary77, I just need to hear your opinions so as not to second guess. I hate to have to send things back so I will use it mixed if it is too rich. The TSVs on AD are such good values. I have this next one coming with the SOB and can't wait to try it! I am curious about the Fig oil that will come with it as well. I hope I will like the scent of Fig.

The fig sweet orange oil smells much better than the cc. The fig sweet orange oil and the Pom oil are my favorite oils. The cc smells different because you smell the sweet smell of the fig mixed with the menthol and the menthol just doesn't compliment the sweet smell of fig. It's not a nasty smell, it just doesn't blend well together in my opinion. It's kind of like drinking orange juice after you eat chocolate!! Lol! The fig scent is the closest to the Pom scent in my opinion. On 3/15/2014 Hilary77 said: If you are worried that it will be heavy on your hair, I think it will be fine.
