I only use the CC, no other Wen products

What am I missing? I have been using Wen since first offered. I cleanse twice and leave my 2nd wash (product) in my hair for 60 min then rinse. What other products should I be using? 613 or remoist or oils? I color treat my hair, not bleach (lighten). Dont use heat, usually air dry. My hair is very healthy.

Most of us really advocate for the oils. If you have any issues at all the TT oil on your scalp will take care of it. I also notice faster growth with the oils, esp in the winter with the forced air. A lot of us incorporate 613 into our routines. If you do, you can just do a regular second cleanse. The styling creme is great and acts against frizz and heat but since you air dry, you are good there.

Do you leave the oils in or rinse. Massage on scalp? It seems odd to leave oil in my hair.

I use the oil on my scalp, leave it overnight and wash in the morning.

It doesn't make your hair greasy.

If you are getting great results from the CCs, you don't have to use anything else; it will be icing on the cake.

Get your flu shot...because I didn't.

Re: I only use the CC, no other Wen products

Initially, the infomercials bragged that Wen reduced the number of hair products that a person needs. I was so over top for Wen in the beginning.

I don't really like 613. I think it smells like Brylcream shaving cream. I'll use it because I spent so much money on it.

I really like TT, fig and pomegranate CC. I'm not tempted by other Wen products.

It's interesting to see the results others get using the products.

MB thanks, you are right, I get caught up in what I might be missing. But again I feel I would never know unless I try 613. I have some argan and jojoba oil, I should try those first.

Re: I only use the CC, no other Wen products

For overall hair health, I'd recommend adding the styling creme (SC) and the oils to your routine:

* styling creme - seals moisture in, protects against heat of blow dryer & helps tame frizzies. -- You may want to pick up the TSV which included the 613 SC and sells for $24 on its own)

* oils (especially the jojoba/tea tree blend) - help keep scalp healthy and, over time, will normalize oil production for an oily scalp.

I'd also recommend the re-moist (which nourished the hair strands) because -- probably just for today -- it's available at a crazy good value:

Wen - amazing special purchase - 8 oz. Re-moist & Wen Comb ($59.94) -- 4 oz. Re-moist regular price...

I've included some additional general information below.

__

MOST POPULAR WEN PRODUCTS (in my opinion)

1) Cleansing Conditioner

2) tied for the second spot:

* Styling Creme

* Treatment Oil

3) Replenishing Treatment Spray

4) Mousse

5) Re-moist

6) Volumizing Treatment Spray

-- Based on what I've read in this forum, I think these are the most popular products. I've included this information because if you're new to Wen, it can be a bit daunting trying to figure out where to start. Personally, I think that just starting with the cleansing conditioner is a good way to begin. Chaz has created a number of different products in response to what's been requested, so just use what you need.

----

MOST POPULAR WEN SCENT (in my opinion)

1) Tea Tree - it really helps to keep your scalp healthy and Chaz calls it a "universal". Most people seem to incorporate it in their routine.

SCENTS USED FOR SPECIFIC REASONS

* SAM/POM - considered universals (i.e. for everyone)

* FIG - most moisturizing

* CA - most clarifying

* 613 - adds amino acids (e.g. protein) to your hair

* Kids formulas (Apple, Watermelon, & Strawberry-Banana) - gentlest to the hair and scalp (rice based / no menthol)

* for those with wheat allergies - soy-based (POM, 613 & Seasonals) or rice-based (Kids formulas & BGT) formulas
