Need advice pretty new to wen. What to order for tsv?

I have the seasonals and that is where I started. My fav with them is WCM. I like the others. I have wanted to try the BGT but see some are saying it is drying. Here are my hair concerns right now. I just lost 100 pounds and it did take a toll on my hair. My hair is thin but curly/wavy, I have dry scalp from psoriasis and I color my hair. Since the weight loss, my hair is also dryer and a bit more brittle. I just had to cut it into a chin length bob. Fig would be to heavy, what are your suggestions? Thanks!

I would say tea tree to address the dry scalp and brittle hair.

Thanks for your help. Thank you DogLvr. So even though I want to try BGT I should stay clear? I will be ordering TT, but I was going to try BGT so maybe just TT.

Re: Need advice pretty new to wen. What to order for tsv?

For this TSV, you might want to try the TT CC. TT CC seems to be a core staple for probably about 80% of the Wenners in this forum. They'll use various other Wen CCs but also add TT to their routine. Lately, Chaz has also been referring to the TT CC as another universal CC formula.

The TT CC is special because the tea tree oil in it has medicinal qualities which help keep the scalp happy and healthy:

* as an anti-fungal, it helps combat dandruff and keep the scalp healthy

* as an anti-bacterial, it helps create a healthy balance for the scalp

* it's emulsifying properties help to gently liquify dried scalp sebum (you body's natural oil) and remove excess dirt from the scalp.

* it helps to balance sebum production and, over time, normalize an oily scalp.

FYI, below is a hot link to past Wen TSVs which will give you an idea of the types of Wen special offers available during the year:

And don't discount fig just because you have fine hair. Many like me that have fine hair, especially if it's color treated, find that fig is the moisture that our hair needs. Like most others, tea tree is my go-to especially for my scalp, but I have finally figured out the fine art of putting one formula on my scalp and another on the rest of my hair and it's working great. I put the tea tree cc on my fingers and really target my scalp, get it worked in, but not on my hair - then add fig to the shaft and ends of my hair and really like how my hair is looking.

And BGT isn't drying for everyone's hair. It wasn't for mine, it's just my stash of WEN was already too big and I couldn't justify buying BGT until I've used more of what I already have.

Thank you for all of your advice. I just might try fig using it as a combo, I do color and my hair can look dry. Thanks again! ??
