Hi Ladies:

Do any of you use the RTM as a toner on your face? I know I've seen where the cc's are used on the face and body. Also, I've seen Chaz mention that he spritzes the RTM on his face. I wanted some insight here because I have several of the RTM sprays and I was considering using one as a toner. If you are/have used it, #1) was it irritating to your skin at all #2) If you used one and it worked for you, can you list which one you liked for your skin. I have dry skin.

Re: Using Wen RTM on your face

The only ones I have used on my face are 613 and I use that one the most, POM, & Bamboo Green Tea, I have most of the others though and I'm sure if I run out of the 613 I'll start using them also. I've never had any of them irritate my skin. I don't really use them as a toner but I do spritz my face before I put moisturizer on, or I'll say argan oil on in the morning and night after I cleanse my face because they have such good ingredients in them.

Re: Using Wen RTM on your face

I don't necessarily think of it as a toner, because that's mostly a meaningless term to me, but I guess I do. I do use the mists on my face and body much more often than I use them on my hair. My favorite is the Sweet Almond Mint, because I live in Texas and the mint is so refreshing on a hot day. I keep the SAM mist in my fridge and spray it all over my face and body when I come home after a hot day. I also use it as a makeup setting spray and keep a small bottle at my desk for a refresh at work. I have a desktop humidifier I run when the heat is on in the office, but a blast of the mist also helps. The mint also wakes me up when I'm feeling tired in the afternoon.

I have several other scents and also like Tea Tree and most of the seasonals. I don't really like the scent of the Fig cleanser or oil, but I do like the Fig replenishing treatment mist.

I have sensitive skin and none of them have ever irritated my skin.

Thanks. Bamboo Green Tea RTM seems like it would be awesome as a toner. Of course, that's the one I dont have. I do have 613 and Pom though. I bet Cucumber Aloe, another one I dont have, would be nice as a toner also.

Great info, thanks. I do have Fig and thought that may work since I have dry skin. Thanks for stating your skin type. Along with being dry, my skin is pretty sensitive as well.

Re: Using Wen RTM on your face

I don't really use it as a toner on my face, but I do give myself a little misting to set my makeup. Sometimes at night, if I wake up hot, or on a hot summer day after being outdoors for a long time, I'll give myself a good misting on my face, neck, arms to help me cool off. I haven't stored it in the 'fridge yet, but I might give that a try this summer.

It sounds like it would, but I can't stand the scent of the Cucumber Aloe cleansing conditioner, so I don't dare try the RTM. I like cucumber scents and aloe scents, but something about that one just... nope, can't do it.

I bet the Bamboo Green Tea would be good, though.

Re: Using Wen RTM on your face

I don't care for RTM on my hair and gifted most of them, but I saved my BGT and am using it on my face. I haven't broken out and it seems to make my dry skin a little treat. I think I will use them a lot that way in the summer when it gets hot to cool off, sit in front of a fan and have a moisturizing cooling treatment when it is way too hot to be thinking about oils or anything heavy.

Re: Using Wen RTM on your face

Hi, I use tea tree every a.m. Before my Argan oil and moisturizers. It helps the oil and/or serums absorb better. I also use the TT after I cleanse my face at night too. I use the seasonals and POM, SAm to set makeup and throughout the day. I like to use POM when I'm working out especially in the warmer months. Have never experienced any irritation whatsoever I love them all. I use 613 before bed most nights too.
