I'm visiting family in the Midwest and have noticed a different in my hair. I live in CA and use POM with BGT for the ends/length. In CA, I have very hard water. In the midwest, we have soft water and the winter weather is so dry. My hair is lacking the body I usually have in CA. I didn't bring the SC with me as I carried on all my luggage. I'm also a data geek. WEN experiences vary so much, I thought I could collect some data from y'all. Maybe it will help me with my next WEN choice. CA, I like this idea! I'm a data geek also.

Hair type: course, curly and dry

Length: short

Color: dark brown with silver "highlights," no relaxer or color

Geo: Maryland

WH: soft

Washes per week: 2

613, Fig or Tea Tree, Fig always Fig as a leave-in

Get your flu shot...because I didn't.

Good topic and I am always interested in what other people do and stats in general. For whatever reason my hair and Wen don't play well in hard water. Maybe it is just the adjustment from one water to the next when I travel.

Hair type: Baby fine but lots of it

Hair length: mid waist

Hair color: Light brown

Hair colored/permed: highlighted ends

Geographic region: Great Northwest

Water hardness: soft to medium

Washes per week: some weeks two or three and some weeks five or six

WEN cocktail: I like to mix it up according to the season and what I have on hand. My hair looks extra great today and I am trying to remember what I used today. Yesterday it was Fig first and 613 second, today I think it was TT and BGT mixed half and half with a little SG.

Hair type: fine, thin, straight (usually) Hair length: at shoulders Hair color: light brown Hair colored/permed: highlights Geographic region: midwest Water hardness: softened Washes per week: 3 WEN cocktail: TT 1st cleanse & TT/seasonal or BGT mix 2nd cleanse; 613 both cleanses once/week. FWIW, my hair responds EXTREMELY well to FAS- I get tons of volume & waves!! ***** sorry for the wall of txt, posting from the ipad***

Hair type - fine, medium, straight

length - bra strap length (until late March - locks of love will have it then).

color - natural carmely dark blonde/light brown, natural (summer time) highlights

wash - most days

water hardness - naturally soft

Location - upper-ish midwest (chicago)

cocktail - winter = FIG, POM or seasonal, sometimes in combination. summer = SAM, or TT or seasonal, sometimes a combo.

I blow dry and frequently use hot rollers. My hair has great body (will hold curl or a style) and feels great.

For what it's worth, I spend 4 weekends a year in the Washington DC area. I always use TT or SAM when I am there. If I travel with anything else, my hair turns into limp noodles (won't hold a curl) as I think there water is treated to be really soft.

Hair type: thick with slight wave and fine texture. Length: just above my shoulders with longer layers. Hair color: dark blonde. Geographic region: Kentucky. Water: moderately hard. Washes per week: Lately, every other day. Wen cocktail: I can use all of the cc's, but my favorites are tea tree, sweet almond mint, bamboo green tea, and fig. I also use lavender, Seasonals, Wen kids, and 613 from time to time. I usually use 10 pumps for the first cleanse and 10 pumps for the second cleanse. I use a dime size of the cc as a leave in with a pump of styling creme. I use the oils as an overnight scalp treatment once or twice a week. I also like to use the oils or serum on the midshaft and ends of my hair as a finishing product. I use the Replenishing mist to add moisture and touch up my hair between cleanses. I occasionally use the volumizing treatment spray as a hairspray. Also, I can't live without my Wen lotion. It is the best lotion I have ever used.
