...is it your experience that you generally ALSO like how the coordinating products work on your hair, too?
(By coordinating products I mean oil, mousse, styling creme, glossing serum, remoist, etc.)

Chaz has said other formulas aren't really different, except for Pom, which is always nut and gluten-free, no matter what the product, and 613, which always has something extra added.
I have loads of oils and notice no difference in performance. Mint formulas tingle some and I can't use the mint formulas on my scalp more than twice a week and I don't like them near my eyes. I prefer Tea Tree for my face.
I have several ReMoist formulas and notice no difference in the QVC formula. (The Guthey-Renker/Sephora version has a thinner consistency, more like a CC than the QVC Remoist.)
For the CC, I always buy a formula that works best for my hair. Everything else I buy in the scent I like best, usually Sweet Almond Mint or a seasonal scent.
I love the oils and Remoist, but I didn't find the styling products to be effective for my hair. They didn't eliminate frizz or offer any real hold. I preferred the mousse over the styling cream. The mousse added some gloss to my hair, which I liked.

I don't always use the same routine, don't always use a styling product. I don't just use one scent to cleanse/condition and then match it to the same scented styling products. I mix and match. The only non-WEN product I (occasionally) use is coconut oil for overnight or pre-cleanse treatment.

haha, no chemist - but I can answer the question. I use it on the length. It's one of the few oils that will penetrate the hair shaft. The other 2 that I know of are olive and avocado. Coconut oil has a higher rate of penetration. It is less expensive and I've used it long before I used WEN. I sometimes use it under WEN oils as I love the results of the WEN oils as well. I like the WEN oils, particularly TT on my scalp and don't use coconut oil there. The WEN oils have really improved my growth and fullness using them on my scalp. I don't know that coconut oil benefits the scalp. It may but I don't use it there.

I also love the cc's (except CA), oils and remoists, but find the styling cream and mousse do nothing for my curls, so I use a non-Wen styling gel specifically made for curls. I had bought several bottles of the mousse because I liked it when I first used it, but now I'm just using it up to spruce up 2nd day curls. I love spraying the Replenishing Treatment Mist on my face, feels and smells wonderful, but it makes my hair sticky and dry (I envy those for whom the RTM provides moisture for their hair). I use the Volumizing Treatment Mist sparingly as a light hairspray. The Glossing Serum did nothing for my hair. Hope Chaz offers us the BGT and 613 oils soon - I will definitely buy them. Very much looking forward to the new spring and summer cc's.

I tried coconut oil on my scalp and it clogged my pores. Never again! I love it for many things, but I keep it away from my scalp and face.

I can't use it on my face either. does tend to clog pores and make my eyes puffy. I have a teaspoon (yum!) before I work out.

yes…I've used all of the SC's and they all work the same on my hair….so I just pick my favorite scent which is Pom. I've used Pom, SAM and 613 mousse…again they perform the same…so I use Pom and 613. All of the RTM's work the same for me too. I have several CC's….I'm a mad scientist in the shower mixing them up :-)
