What happens if you fall in love with one, and then it's discontinued? Do you keep trying more until you find it's replacement? Or is it the way of the Wen-world? When Pantene discontinued my favorite DT, I nearly had a meltdown.

I understand the seasonals are universal, but from what I have read read, some are lighter or heavier on moisture/protein/scent than others. How do you know if what you buy will give you the results you want.

Finally, how do you incorporate a seasonal into your regimen. Does that make sense?

I do not think the seasonals are universal at all, regardless of what Chaz says and you don't know what results you will get unless you try it.

I have fallen in love with one, SMC, and although I was sad it wouldn't be back, I don't worry about it that much and enjoy seeing what new scent he thinks of next, although I've been disappointed in the new seasonals this year so far.

I now use Fig mixed with SMC as my perfect balance for my hair right now. One I run out of SMC, I have no idea what I am going to do. Hopefully the summer seasonal, honey peach will be a good replacement.

The Mango/Coconut was my favorite. The seasonal ones push me outside of my box. I tend to fall into patterns and this way, I am forced to try something new and for me, that's a good thing.

I'm in love with SMC. I use it for my second cleanse every time I cleanse. I've been getting it from the bay, which I'll continue to do until it gets a little more rare and as a result becomes prohibitively expensive (like WVM now is!!!). I'm hoping that either the spring or summer formulas work for me the way SMC does. If they don't, I'll survive with my TT, SAM, and 613. I really like to include a seasonal along as my 4th core formula, but I think I'll survive with only 3 formulas to use each time I cleanse my hair (kind of a first world problem, right?). Just like everything, you don't know how each new seasonal will work for you until you try it, but I think most of us enjoy trying new things while sticking to the Wen brand. That's the real idea behind the seasonals is that they satisfy the desire to buy new things and try something new without straying from Wen. I'm totally fine with that, and I'm really looking forward to SOB and SHP!!!

They aren't universal. That may be a good thing!

You have a perfect balance right now. That's exactly what my concern is!

Thanks, Giants. I love it when I get a hair regimen that's steady. Maybe an occasional seasonal won't be so bad.

Right now, I use 613 and Fig one day; then Tea Tree and Fig mid week. It took me months to add an oil despite the awesome things I've heard about the overnight treatments.

I like the variety. I'd get very bored using the same scents all the time. I'm very lucky in that I can use most formulas with the same results. The only 2 I'm had any problems with were CA and SGGT, both were a little too drying. Everything else is good to me! I've even come to really like (not love) FAS which is saying a lot, cuz I REALLY didn't care for the scent at all.

Finny thanks. It seems like the seasonals satisfy the Product Junkie in all of us. For you, it's icing on the cake but for me, it would become a food group.

Unlike many reviews, I am in love with the Fall Apple Spice, and went to Amazon to stock up on it. Ebay has some, but it ends up going as high as Amazon anyway. I wish it would come back in years to come, but I guess if it doesn't, I'll find something else to love. What I don't like is how much it costs to try something new, and find you aren't really crazy about it.

All the seasonals work pretty much the same on my hair. I will agree that some seem a little heavier than others, but it is only a slight difference for me.
