I wish Chaz would make a regular shaped brush

I love his round brushes, they are the only boar bristle brushes I own that will penetrate to my scalp. But I don't want to brush with a round brush all the time. So I wish he would take the bristle design and put it on a nomal flat brush.

No I didn't. Thanks for pointing it out. Oh that Spornette one, yes I've seen it. It's not a boar bristle brush though. I like the boar bristle with the nylon combination that he uses in his round brushes, I just want one in a flat design for normal brushing.

They sell a boar bristle/nylon bristle flat brush at Sally's Beauty Supply if you are interested. I have one. The one I have is a Goldenwood brush by ion. You can go to Sally's website and look at it. It is 9.99. I just searched paddle brush and found it.

Where is this flat brush? I too wish he would use the exact materials as he round ones in a flat design.

Has anyone used Chaz's Spornette paddle brush? Any reviews? There's no info about it on his website, and I'd love to hear what makes it special.

The extra $$ he charges? That's the Spornette 5161. You can get it on Amazon for under $10 and on Drugstore dot com for $11. Spornette makes good brushes. They're much cheaper than a Mason Pearson boar bristle brush, which would run over $100.

Re: I wish Chaz would make a regular shaped brush

I hate to admit this, but I don't even own a brush. I gave up on them because nothing would penetrate my thick, coarse hair. I've actually broken a few brushes in my lifetime - split in two by the awesome power of my hair (lol).

My hair is more wavy than curly, but I don't ever remember a time that I've been able to run a brush completely through it - crown to ends. Do you think Chaz's brushes are worth a try for my hair type? I'd hate to waste the money because they're so pricey.

I haven't tried his paddle brush but I am in love with Agave's Natural Bamboo Paddle brush. I bought it here on the Q when they had it priced lower. I think you can get it cheaper on Amazon. I used to buy a new Aveda paddle brush every year, but this one is so much nicer. It is great for blow drying your hair.
