What does BGT smell like?

I am on the "fence". I have read a lot of reviews: clean, light, fresh. That really doesn't tell me anything specific. What does this smell like, exactly? TIA for your input.

I am thinking of getting some too...This is the only formulation I have yet to try. I'm going to wait until tonight's show.

IMO, it smells fabulous - fresh, outdoorsy, botanical. Nothing fruity or sweet about it.

I smell gardenia and fresh grass or aloe. It does not have the menthol smell like spring gardenia green tea. It smells like shampoo to me. When I smell my hair after using it, it smells like I have used shampoo. Hope this helps.

When it first came out I read others post of light gardenia and fresh mowed grass, and that it is great for fine hair so bought it when it came out and LOVE the scent and what it does for my hair. My hairs less thin thanks to Chaz and his Wen, but still fine, and BGT scent of fresh mowed grass I love, reminds me of when I was a kid.

Less menthol sounds great. Gardenia and fresh mowed grass I'm not sure, but I'll have to try it and see what I think. Plus, I've never tried a rice formula, so curious how that works for my hair. I am a little afraid it might be drying, but I hope not.

It didn't smell like grass to me, just light, fresh, and a little bit flowery. I don't think that "fresh mowed grass" is a good way to describe the green aspect of the scent.
