Do you use the WEN formula that is recommended for your hair type?

I'm fairly new to WEN and loving it! {#emotions_dlg.biggrin} I haven't used all of the formulas yet, but I'm sure it's only a matter of time. A friend of mine let me try out a bunch of samples, which was really helpful in experimenting. My hair is colored, quite healthy, but on the finer side. I have some odd waves and a couple of cowlicks, but it's always been a pain to wear my hair wavy due to frizz. I have ZERO frizz with WEN, so I'm very tempted to grow out my bob so I can stop straightening it. In the meanwhile, I've found it really interesting that the best formulas for me so far have been Fig, TT (fave), FAS (I know some of you hate the scent but I am hooked), and 613. SAM wasn't a great experience and neither was WCM. I haven't tried POM or any of the other cores yet. I do have the rest of the seasonals to go through. Smiley Happy

Anyway, I found it interesting that the formulas for coarser/dry hair seem to be the ones that work best for me. I'm just curious if users generally find the recommended formulas to be the right ones--it could be that my process was not good in the beginning since I tried some of those earlier formulas first...

Re: Do you use the WEN formula that is recommended for your hair type?

I've used all the various CCs except the rice-based ones (Kids CCs & BGT). I have thin/fine hair and LAV was designed for my hair type but it left my hair flat (no volume) and a bit dry. In this last visit Chaz started recommending LAV for people who have a lot of thin/fine hair (that's not me) and he's recommending TT (which always worked) for my hair type.

For my regular cleansing routine I use:

* first cleanse -- TT, rotating CA in for every 4th cleanse

* second cleanse -- any Seasonal, rotating 613 in for every 3rd cleanse

TT helps balance my naturally oily scalp. CA may help reduce any possible build up. The Seasonals & 613 both have the amino acid complex which my thin/fine hair really needs on a regular basis.

I am the same way. I have lots of fine textured hair with a slight (weird) wave. I, too have problems with frizz. I love tea tree, Sam, lavender, and fig.
