For how many minutes do you rinse?

First, let me say that my hair is definitely healthier using Wen. However, I do find that it seems to weigh my hair down. I am using approximately 8-10 pumps for both the first and second cleanse. I have fine hair, but it's not thin. My length is right around my collar bone. I wonder if I'm not rinsing long enough? How many minutes do you spend rinsing after each cleanse? Someone on another thread in this forum posted that she rinses for five minutes! Does Wen really require a 5 minute rinse to obtain the best results?

I have shoulder length, thin/fine hair. From a 16 oz bottle, I use 2-3 pumps for my first cleanse and 3 pumps for my second cleanse (yes, less than Chaz recommends, but it works for me). Using cool water, for the first cleanse, I spend about one minute rinsing. Using cool to cold water, for the second cleanse, I spend 1.5-2 minutes cleansing. I easecially focus on massaging/cleansing my scalp since it is on the oilier side. I finish it off by using really cold water on my scalp for about 10 seconds (to close the cuticles of my hair)

Re: For how many minutes do you rinse?

I probably only rinse for a minute or two. When I first started using Wen, my hair also felt heavy and oily. But I kept using it because my hair was so dry and damaged, that it was they only thing that would let me get a comb or brush through my hair. I finally figured out that I wasn't using it properly. First make sure you are adding a good bit of water to help distribute it through you hair and then use a wide tooth comb to completely get it through your hair and on to your scalp. These 2 steps are key. Also, not sure which formula you are using, but you may need something lighter. CA, BGT & POM are some of the lighter formulas.

I don't really time it, but I would guess 1.5-2 minutes. I rinse until I cant feel the silkiness of the product anymore. It is hard for me to explain. The whole time I rinse, I rake my hands through near the scalp to insure it all gets rinsed away.
