If you don't like the styling creme, use the serum.

The styling creme has always been just ok for me. I am the kind of person that doesn't like a lot of product in my hair. I have been using the glossing serum in place of the styling creme and I love it! I only used the styling creme in the past for heat protection. I feel the serum gives me great heat protection and is lighter. It also gives my hair amazing shine. All I do is cleanse with Wen like I normally do. Then I put a dime size of cc and 2 pumps of serum in my hand and mix them. I apply it to the midshaft and ends of my hair. I just ordered the set of pom serums because I love it so much.
