for $33 and change (can't remember the exact amount) and free shipping on HSN. This thing is great; much easier than lifting hand weights, feels good, is every bit as easy to adjust the resistance as they demonstrate. This offer is good until Monday, 8/22. You can't go wrong with this!

Have had this for well over a year and it was worth every penny I paid for it. Like any other piece of exercise equipment? The more it is used the better it works. Cool

I think you will be glad you did, Pistolino! I even thought about ordering this one, but honestly could not tell that it did anything special over the older model that I have.So far, 3 turns is about all the resistance I can handle! I even modified mine to make it a little more user friendly (did not like guiding my feet into the loops); I undid the velcro loops and velcroed them together to form one long flat strap that all I have to do is just stand on it. Now, when I get up to use this, all I have to do is just stand on it, no bending over to place my feet, and I am ready to go!

John, so glad to hear from you; I have been following your hospital stays and recovery and praying for you. I have always valued your input; you are so kind and knowledgeable! If I remember correctly, you also have the Ablounge. If this is correct, maybe you can answer my question. I quit using this about 2 years ago because everytime I would get on it, I would suffer with some type of vertigo. I tried this again 2 days ago and the same thing happened again and it took about an hour for it to pass. Evidently, there is something in that forward-to-back motion that I just can't handle.

Thank you so much for thinking of me, your prayers and your kind words. It is always heart warming to know that others care about one's situations.

We actually have 2 of the Ab Lounge, one is the original and the other is the XL model.

Do you take any blood pressure medicine? I have had to ever since my first heart attack back in July of 2003, and I have to be careful when I do anything in the prone position, even getting up off a couch.

Have your tried not going below parallel when you go backwards? Maybe getting your head below your body could be causing or exaxperating this problem. I know many people use to have this problem the first few times they used a treadmill. Don't know if it is maybe a motion sickness type of thing or what.

Maybe if you try going slower and/or not so far back in the motion. Maybe just go far enough back to engage your ab muscles and then hold that position. It will still give your abdominal muscles a good workout and maybe help with your problem.

Thanks again so much for thinking and following my rather interesting life as it evolves through the later years. You are so nice for doing so.

Hey again, John. I thought about what I posted and realized I did not provide much information. I am not on any medication other than hormone replacement; I have tried slowing down and doing more "purposeful" movements, but that seemed to make it worse, I only managed to do 15 reps before I had to quit. I don't have any trouble on the treadmill or elliptical as far as motion sickness (just joints, etc). When I typed the word "joints", it reminded me that I have started taking Osteo-biflex for arthritis, so I don't know if that is adding to the problem. 2 years ago, I was able to do 100 reps before I started feeling queasy. Next time I am brave enough to get on it, I will try not to arch as much to see if that helps. I used to love this thing, it was the best for my abs and obliques. Thanks for responding, hope you continue to do well. I have always felt like you were such a genuine friend; I have read your posts where you really try to provide sound and solid information and you seem to go above and beyond what you needed to do in order to help someone. I only wrote you once while you were in the hospital, but I read the other posters and felt like I would just post later because you had so many reaching out to you at that time.
