the jurors are back at work
I read some interesting "speculation" that makes sense to me this morning.
Yesterday the whole brouhaha over the Impasse (Allen) Charge sent everyone in a tizzy saying they were a hung jury-- but the charge was read in an attempt to answer 2 questions from the jury that we did not hear in open court. These questions were referred to as "#4 and #5" by the court. That number does not match the question number that we have heard in court, so people are thinking that the numbers were actually referencing mitigation factors that the jury wanted clarification on.
It is difficult to piece everything together when the court is not telling us, lol.
But reading the Allen Charge could be the court's way of telling them to discuss it amongst themselves, not that they are hung.
Here's hoping, as I would just like the Jury to decide, not the JSS.

Good morning Marianne (still morning in the west), and as you've probably already noticed, today is Wed the 4th. So glad I'm not the only one who does this! If the date wasn't on display at the bottom of my computer I'd be lost.
So what you're saying is they're considering the mitigating factors? And is it true that the mitigating factors are different this time around since Jodi didn't give her little speech about selling domestic violence t shirts, selling her hair, the book club, etc?
I heard something about her mental illness claim and that they may feel her borderline personality is a consideration to reject the dp.
Basically, I'm just rambling. I hope I'm making sense.

I even looked at the date on my computer as I was posting and saw it was the 4th!
What the heck? LOL
One or more of the jurors could say life because of the BPD diagnosis. Who knows, till we know.

Maria De La Rosa brought in a garment on a hanger, presumably for Hodi. The baliff escorted her through a door. Maria returned to the courtroom w/out the garment. Maria was chatting w/ Hodi's mother in the courtroom.
