Title to former Lanza home transferred to Town of Newtown

Just read this story on Yahoo. The Savings bank that held the mortgage on the home owned by Nancy Lanza has transferred title to the town of Newtown. What they are actually going to do with the property has not been made clear. The home was valued at $540,000 however selling it would have been virtually impossible due to its association with Adam Lanza. the bank stripped all personal belongings, drapes, carpeting and fixtures right down to the recessed lights out of the house and incinerated all of it. The town received the title to the home at no cost.

You'd think the town would want it razed; maybe one day it will be.

Oops, you are right, sorry. It's good to forget who they are. It was horrific.

I can't believe people actually think we should forget who Adam Lanza is and what he did because it was so horrible. Maybe we can manage to forget who Adolph Hitler was since The Holocast was so horrible.

Kathy, I remember the children and their families, as well as the horrific act. Just not the name of the one who did it. He is dead.

I read that the bank is going to raze the home to prevent people from profiting off of memorabilia from the home - which is just sick that people would do that.
