Do you consider this a maternity "fail" for Kate? Supposedly so.

I think that she looks fine.

Kate Middleton has officially grown tired of wiping the floor with other people's pregnancy gowns. Unfortunately, the Duchess of Cambridge has broken her flawless streak of maternity wear with a party dress that has polka dots, a belted peplum, and a dark blue silk skirt. Blaming this on the stylist, or maybe she's really just giving Kate a break from acing every situation, sartorially speaking.

What are those who are judging finding wrong with this dress?

She set the bar so high but this isn't my favorite look.

Personally I don't like black and blue together, but she looks nice just like she always does.

The Queen probably chose it for her.

I don't know, that is all that was said and now I forgot where I read it.

Luckily, on Yahoo she is redeemed {#emotions_dlg.thumbup}

Kate Middleton is one adorable pregnant woman.

The stylish Duchess of Cambridge made her most recent public appearance at the Place2be Wellbeing in Schools Awards Reception at Kensington Palace on Wednesday, where she accented her baby bump in a belted polka-dot Hobbs peplum top and a metallic blue Jenny Packham skirt. She finished off the ensemble with black heels and an eye-catching pair of Temple of Heaven drop earrings.

She looks fine! People are weird, always picking everyone apart!

AND I might add- The way people dress now days when theyre pregnant is a far (better) cry from the sacks we wore when pregnant 30 plus years ago!..lol.

I thought Diana had the most beautiful outfits. After she died, there were photos after photos after photos of her clothes and there were some real "stinkers". No one is going to look great every outing.

well, since you asked, I will give my opinion. I think the dress is uncharacteristically frumpy compared to her normally flawless style.

Not terrible, not ugly, just a bit frumpy for her age.
