Junket custard?

Wasn't Postum a substitute for coffee?

Postum cereal and junket, was that for puddings?

Grew up with both of them.

Had another old favorite this morning that I had not made in over a decade.

Cream of Wheat. It was great. I am very picky about my Cream of Wheat and Malt O Meal.

It has to be smooth and hot.

junket was used in pudding mixes, ice cream, etc. as a thickener

Postum was a granulated coffee substitute, caffeine free.

DH loved Malt O Meal, I did not.

LOL................well they weren't posters LOL.......googled it.......postum for coffee and junket was like a pudding or sweet cheese................basically junket is curdled milk.........................raven

I can't remember if I like it or not Haven't eat any in decades. Was talking to my husband about not breakfast cereals like oatmeal (we both love steel cut oats), etc.
