I'll be interested to see the responses from them too.

I've seen references made on these recent threads about nurses who refused care to the first onset of AIDs/HIV patients. They were being ridiculed for being scared/uneducated.

I can't remember if the nurses back then were getting infected with the disease like these two (so far) nurses that attended to just one ebola patient.

I posted this on another thread, but according to the Dallas Morning News, the hospital staff caring for Duncan did not wear protective gear for the first 2 days. They put on the protective gear when the ebola test came back positive.

Very troubling, if true. Some nurses from Texas Pres. are speaking out anonymously about how little they were prepared.

I posted in another thread that I was at the hospital the other day and asked a nurse if they were prepared and she very matter of factly said no.

Not a nurse, but it's pretty apparent that training is in dire need.

the major hospital in my area has already isolated p8-10 patients who answered yes when they were found to have traveled from the hotzone, when they exhibited symptoms consistent with ebola and other viruses.. they also sent in decoys to test the system.

It isn't just nurses who ahve to deal with this - it is all the staff.
