In 3 days Scotland will decide its fate!

I think this is super exciting. I hope they succeed in breaking away from England. They were allowed in 1999 to have their own parliamentary but only on local issues however the money flow was still controlled by England. They deserve this shot to be completely independent! Can't wait for the outcome of the vote on the 18th!

It's a complicated issue and I can see both sides. There's much more to think about than some romantic notion of independence and nationhood. Whatever the vote is, I hope it's not so close that it prevents Scotland from moving forward.

It's always a victory for me when I remember why I entered a room.

I'm not a Scot, I don't care one way or the other. However, my fil was born in Scotland and has many relatives there that he's very close to. My husband and his dad spent a few weeks in Scotland a few years ago. So, however the vote goes. I just hope and pray they get it right.

The implications are serious. No EU or NATO, among others.

While I applaud independence this may not be in their best interests.
