A couple of years ago, there was a thread about this and I enjoyed reading about everyone's favorite scenes....so let's do it again!! Maybe I need a good cry - LOL!!
An oldie that gets me every time...the movie "Since You Went Away" with Claudette Colbert and a host of others....the scene where Robert Walker's character is boarding the train to go away to war and his grandfather (estranged and not speaking for years) is running through the station to try to get there before the train leaves....OMG I am crying just typing this!! That movie is one of my all time top 10!
Out of Africa - the scene when Karen is leaving Africa and she asks her manservant to say"her name.....he says "You are Karen, Sabu...so much emotion in those words and on the servant's face!!
Field of Dreams - at the end, when Kevin Costner says "Wanna have a catch?" to his "ghost" father.
Brian's Song - just about the entire movie!!
The Way We Were - when they hug at the end and she brushes his hair back....
I'm sure there are many more, but those are the ones that come immediately to mind!

"Armageddon - Someone has to stay behind on the asteroid to blow it up. But Harry (Willis) fools A.J. (Affleck) and pushes him back onto the elevator leading to the spaceship. ''You take care of my girl now,'' says crusty ol' Harry. ''I always thought of you as a son. I'd be d@ mn proud to have you marry Grace.'' ''No, Harry! Noooo!'' screams A.J. ''I love you,'' says Harry. ''I love yoooouuuu! Harry!'' responds A.J. in turn."

"That" scene in The Way We Were.
Born Free- from the 60's. I don't think I've ever recovered from that.
ET- at the end.
Bridges of Madison County- gulping sobs.
Brian's Song
Love Story
Yankee Doodle Dandy- I was a crying fool in that. I think I'm the only person who ever cried in that movie.
Funny Girl- at the end. Sob city.
Not a movie, but tv show. When they killed off Bobby Simone in NYPD Blue, I was upset for DAYS.
Romeo and Juliet- the 1968 version with Olivia Hussey and Len Whiting.
