Jane's nail polish during Black Hills Gold now

OK, I admit it, I know nothing about nail polish trends, I have never put polish on my nails, my hands were ugly when I was young, let alone now when I have arthritis - why is Jane wearing 2 colors of polish - pale pink on all her fingers but the ring fingers, where it is a metallic gold. I think it looks weird. What's the deal here?

It's a popular style, I've done it numerous times myself.

For July 4th, I wore red polish but my left hand ring finger was cobalt blue.

For St. Patrick's Day, I wore a deep green polish, but that same finger was gold.

She's got very freckly skin. Freckles all over her neck/chest and arms/hands. What causes that? Is it sun exposure?

My mom and sister are freckly, nothing (for them to do with the sun) -- they are redheads, that is what I always thought their freckles had to do with???

I like the color Jane has on her nails. The gold accent was perfect for BHG.

I do a pink glitter accent nail in October for breast cancer.

When she wears garish colors on her toes and then sells shoes, it's just unwatchable for me. I always change the channel. I just have no interest in looking at a close up of her toes and if she thinks the garish colors enhances them, she is sadly mistaken.
