The action starts 6 months after the Christmas show. Mary is supposedly back to her old self and she and Edith resume their rivalry. Things still not looking good for poor Edith who seems to have the worst luck.. This will be Michelle Dockery's (Mary's) last season supposedly.

Thank U for the heads-up. However, the producer, Liz Trubridge or whoever is responsible for this show, shouldn't have split it up like this. Ridiculous! We don't want to wait a year to see a couple of new series. Just awful planning.

I'm looking forward to it coming back also. I agree with Skylands. Wish we didn't have to wait so long. I don't know why they can't broadcast it here at the same time the broadcast it in Britain.

So Mary character won't be back???? Are you certain? I am sad......and surprised........that will move the storyline into a new chapter that will mix things up......

By the time the show rolls around again, many will have lost interest. I was disappointed in the way it was cut off so soon this year and am therefore not even thinking much about it.
