I call it a toilet. My parents call it a "stool" which I think is so weird.

Anyone else know people who call it "stool" or are they just crazy? Smiley Happy

My mom says ""commode"" when she's talking about one of those chair things.

""stool"" and ""Davenport"" are both very Midwestern terms. My older relatives used both.

Never heard of anyone saying stool. I call it a toilet. You just made me think of my dad. He used to say hes going to the backa the house instead of the bathroom or hed joke its the best seat in the house!. lol. (My dad was always funny, the bathroom wasn't in the back of the house, it was upstairs).

Never heard anyone call a toilet a stool - just the contents of the toilet.
